This photo was taken in 2021 and I just identified the insect: Eastern Leaf-footed bug nymphs (Leptoglossus). They have just hatched from their egg casings on this tomato plant stem. As they mature, their body shape changes and they look completely different. I now realize I have images of adult Leaf-footed bugs! See next photo…
This adult has an elongated black body and black legs. The long antennae are black and orange, and there is an orange band at the front of the broad plate covering the thorax, which is a leaflike dilation of the hind tibia. It is perched on the top of a multicolored wax candle. Adult Eastern Leaf-footed bug (true bug) also known as the passion vine bug, squash bug, or citron bug. Leptoglossus gonagra Mystery solved 😎👍🏼

A can of flaky Pillsbury Grands biscuits, some melted butter, equal parts of dark brown sugar and white sugar, and as much cinnamon as you prefer, et voila! Pull-apart breakfast treat! Cut each biscuit into fourths, roll each piece into a ball, coat with butter then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mix and arrange on parchment paper in a 9"×9" baking dish (non-glass is best). Pour the remaining butter over the top and bake at 350⁰F until the bread is golden and the butter is bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this. I'll bet there are even recipes for it out there. I mean, rolling biscuit dough in sugar and cinnamon isn't exactly rocket science! Still, it sure did hit the spot!
