Iβve tried #AppFlowy as a #Notion alternative and while it is close, Iβm not quite sold on it yet as Iβve had issues syncing and general stability.
It took _way_ too much effort to get #AppFlowy working on my #YunoHost server. Not to mention that all outbound #Email is handled by my #MailCow server so had to set up a SMTP Relay and credentials on the MailCow server so it could authenticate. And of course then having to disable sender checks [β¦]

I want to like #AppFlowy. I really do.
But the fact they charge $7.50/mo for the **_privilege_** of me storing my data _locally_ and not transferring my data to their servers, frankly is **offensive**.

ok so it seems like they are transitioning to some new system, while also somehow keeping the old one (?)
#logseq has a lot of open issues, most of them don't seem to get resolved. On Android, I can only use backspace to delete blocks if I use GBoard or Samsung Keboard - no FOSS keyboard :((

had to ninjawrite an exporter from #ObsidianMD to migrate my stuff to my new locally hosted github.com/outline/outl... platform on my #raspberrypi - my head is too unstructured for just having a graph database :)

Result Details
After some testing, #AppFlowy is feeling a lot better for projects than #Obsidian, while the reverse is true for knowledge management. Although AppFlowy could potentially take over the later if a couple of super useful features get added.
Iβve seen a lot of big improvements to #AppFlowy over the past few months. If you havenβt tried it yet I highly recommend it. If youβre familiar with Notion youβll be right at home.
