Elgin Street Bacup, once thought to be the shortest street in Britain at 5.2 m. However in 2006 a street in Scotland was later found to be shorter.
However, still pretty impressive and the street can be reached from the top end of the car park on Lord Street. Look down through the railings. #bacup

There's something special about hearing a Brass Band at Christmas. Storm Darragh subsided in time for us to enjoy a wonderful night of music and carols with Stacksteads Brass Band which was established 152 years ago in 1872.
