Curtis Island Lighthouse Camden, ME I have always loved the stories that photography tells. Each capture tells us something we could only see or imagine when we look at it vs just seeing it in person. I used to tell myself “you can’t take pictures, you know nothing about photography.” When I picked up my camera and looked through my lens, I heard a voice say “yes you can”!!! It doesn’t take vast knowledge to TRY something new. Knowledge comes in the trying & doing. Just try!! 😊♥️
I am here to tell you, the “self talk” I used to do daily was hurtful & demeaning to me. Many years ago, I turned that around. I removed the word “not” after “can”!
I allowed myself to see life with wide open eyes & heart. What I saw through my lens was beautiful.
