I've watched the "Firefly" panel and Nathan clearly stated he is not interested in telling stories set after "Serenity", so I assume they're doing to milk those six months dry or if the show will be successful they will decide to disregard the events of the movie. #BringBackFirefly
That being said, it's "Firefly" - the franchise that keep coming back for a little while and goes away to return for another bite, never to stay for long (SADLY). #BringBackFirefly
I assume if they get more than one season then they would have to jump ahead. We would lose Wash, but this being an animation, Alan Tudyk can voice a brand new character. I always prefer the story to move forward rather than float in place with arrested development. #BringBackFirefly
The only thing that bothers me regarding animated "Firefly" is the fact that it's set between the series and the movie. There is not much space there - River and Simon were on Serenity for 8 months at the time of the movie. That's not really a long term solution. #BringBackFirefly
I am glad they released these in paperbacks as well. I bought first two immediatly after their premiere, only hardbacks were available at the time obviously, and somehow I find them very uncomfortable to hold while reading. #BringBackFirefly
Fun fact: We thought there was no leaks regarding that "Firefly" announcement, but turns out there was, but nobody connected the dots. Nathan said that they were working on it for five years now. Three years ago there was a reddit leak from Unnanouced ShadowMachine project. #BringBackFirefly

The more I think about the Firefly announcement the more excited I get. The idea of the original cast, a respected animation studio, and a story I’d actually really like to see (between Firefly and Serenity). If they can make this happen, I’ll be one happy Browncoat.
