So, we all know that the second recording block of Shada was cancelled due to strike action - but the sets were planned out in full... What would it have looked like? Wonder no more!

Today it's 43 years since #DoctorWho Castrovalva Part One was broadcast. Here's something I haven't put online before. The biggest TARDIS set the series did. Designer Janet Budden used every bit of stock scenery, and then made some more... 'Now, ordinary spaces....' #CGSets

Here’s one of the studio sessions for #DoctorWho The Deadly Assassin, recreated in CG! Panopticon, cloister, museum, and the Chancellery. The secondary TARDIS control room was constructed right in the middle, and struck overnight… #CGsets
