I'm definitely team #Everlark but Gale/Katniss was important. Friendship is a beautiful relationship too. I can see why she might not know she felt. They cared & supported each other. Found family. They had companionship & compassion. They are living daily to survive.
I wish more stories wrote relationships like Katniss and Peeta. A true partnership. Tenderness as strength. Peeta loves her exactly as she is never trying to fix, shape, or control her. They choose each other with care, not ego.
