I finally got around to watching #DeepImpact. Yikes! The physics of nuking space bodies in this movie are just as bad as #Armageddon.
The US Power grid would be devastated, requiring years before returning to full operation.
Civilization is fragile and I think hard about it when I watch disaster films. It hints at the horror but doesn't let us see it.
Tiny implied slivers, never the totality of it.
