This basal euchelicerate has more to say than you may think. First believed to be an eurypterid, new specimens allowed at the end of the XX° century to reconsider it as a potential distant relative of horseshoe crabs. Some details on its flanks indicate that it could also rolled itself like woodlouses and modern horseshoe crabs.
