Another few minutes and the Pale Ones would be forced indoors as the night curfew fell. Only the Nura would be about then. Only they were allowed the streets at night. The citizenry had convinced themselves it was because the Nura kept watch, the Nura kept them safe. The Nura knew the truth. No curfew could stop them. No walls constrained those who walked the sands.
