I discovered what #filetcrochet was and immediately dove into the deep end for my first project. I'm getting close to finishing within the next week I believe.
Little bit a throwback here. This doily was finished a month ago, but I never blocked it on the parasol ☂️ frame.
Still need to secure it on the frame and hide the end, but it’ll be ready for Cathedral City LGBT+ Days March 7th. My first Pride in Southern California!

A purple filet crochet doily lies on my black desktop. The beginnings of the pattern are just emerging with 8 columns of solid crochet widening at the edge. My 1.75mm crochet hook with wooden handle is visible at the top of the image attached to the working yarn.
All ourple tonight.
Another pattern I found without attribution and the title was cropped off. This one was printed in English, though, so I’m hopeful.
First time pattern, first time yarn - Scheepjes Cotton Whirl #712 dye lot 2, very jewel-toned rainbow.

A work-in-progress filet crochet doily lies on my black desktop. The yarn is bright yellow and the pattern has repeating columns at this point. In the bottom right is my wood-handled crochet hook showing 1.75mm. In the top left corner is a section of yarn is had to frog back, so it’s a little messy.
Here I go again. 🧶
This pattern is another vintage one, but was scanned without a title. The text included with the chart is Portuguese. It has very interesting small pattern sections within the overall filet crochet. I hope it works for a parasol!

My latest #filetcrochet wip is an homage to the great David Lynch. Ever since seeing The Elephant man and Twin Peaks many years ago I’ve loved his work, the way he saw people and the way he loved those others would call freaks. And he was right to tell us to fix our hearts 💕 🧶
