I’m happy with my first attempt at this vintage pattern. There is SO much more pattern 1km of yarn & 1.75mm hook wouldn’t reach.
I’ll try it again in the future with #10 white crochet thread and 1mm hook to get the rest of the pattern.

A work-in-progress filet crochet doily lies on my black desktop. The yarn is bright yellow and the pattern has repeating columns at this point. In the bottom right is my wood-handled crochet hook showing 1.75mm. In the top left corner is a section of yarn is had to frog back, so it’s a little messy.

This pattern is another vintage one, but was scanned without a title. The text included with the chart is Portuguese. It has very interesting small pattern sections within the overall filet crochet. I hope it works for a parasol!

I am officially 12 rows away from completing my Charlotte's Universe! I have been working on this blanket since early 2022. Definitely a labor of love but this blanket is so gorgeous.

A 48" parasol is open and upside down, so the wooden handle is projecting up from the center on a background of white void. The crochet mandala on this parasol features the colors of the Asexual Pride flag and it is purple at the center which gradually fades into white, grey, and finally black at the edge. Only part of the parasol is visible in an attempt to be artsy and show a different angle on my parasols.

I love the colors of the Ace Pride flag and it's exciting to make this parasol each & every time it is ordered. This one is upside down to show off its crooked handle, but the other side is fully beaded on every pineapple in the pattern.

This melamine #scheepjes mug gets very hot, but was too cute to put a cosy on, so I crocheted a sleeve for the handle. Nothing fancy, just some (US) single crochet in aran weight acrylic then stitched on. No dishwasher for this baby! #crochet
