Last year the FlippyDrive was finally shipped, so I installed it in my Gamecube with several other modifications. It turned out beautifully. :)

Took some time to install a #FlippyDrive in my good ol' GameCube today! Now I can play totally legit backups on my machine, it's really neat. Love to see no-solder mods like this becoming more prevalent in recent times

Had a great time tonight hanging out with @skyehdd.gay and worked together installing my #FlippyDrive on my #GameCube! Now I can backup my games, play my backups off SD card, and also play imports!
While this works, I was told that the actual intended placement is beneath the shielding. So, this is what you should end up with. #FlippyDrive #Nintendo #GameCube #RETROGAMING
1/2 While testing #FlipperMCE I decided I would install the #FlippyDrive on my Panasonic Q too, to test more games.
In the process I discovered there's no documentation for the Q and you could assume the flex should be placed the same way as in a normal cube but that's incorrect.
Finally, after a very long wait, my flippydrive units have arrived! One for my spice orange GameCube and one for my Panasonic Q.

Last weekend I modified one of my Gamecubes with the FlippyDrive, courtesy of Team OffBroadway (@chrispville.bsky.social and Trevor Rudolph).
Although I broke a few cables in the process 😅, I had fun installing this to my Gamecube and got to play a classic, Sonic Heroes 💙💛❤️
