What I thought was my first Sand Martin of the year at Shidbon Nature Reserve yesterday turned out not to be so!
I'm unsure what species of bat this is but thinking Common Pipistrelle? Hopefully someone will be able to help with ID?

Clearly a slighter bird - extensive retained sum plum. AGP moults later than GP?
A juv and adult GP either side for comparison ..
Requesting opinion/thoughts on a possible AGP with 30 GP at Hayle pm today. Retained summer plum, slighter in size, strong head pattern, grey-er background colour, thinner bill. Didn’t get underwing nor primary proj - face-on the whole time until it flew W #idhelp #cornwallbirding #please #begentle
Hello Birder Friends,
I really need help with this bird that flies above the chickadee. I thought it was a hummingbird at first, but when it’s perched on the branch it isn’t shaped like a hummingbird, or is it? #Birds #IDHelp
The bird looks like it has a red chest and body and yellow rump?
On the surface of an old log, there is an amber-colored pupa inside a shelter made out of little grains of wood. It is a peculiar sight.
The same pupa within the wood bit shelter as shown in the previous image, but we view it from far above instead of close up in this photo.
I have no idea what this is... What kind of creature is hiding in that pupa? Did it construct that igloo made out of wood bits(?) itself? No matter how hard I search, I haven't been able to figure a thing out, and it drives me a bit mad sometimes.

A bee on a purple flower surrounded by greenery.
A bee on a thistly flower on the South Downs at Patching yesterday. Sorry but #IDhelp needed yet again from the lovely #wildflowerhour folks.
Yellow wildflowers, close-up shot.
Clump of yellow wildflowers on the edge of a dried grass meadow, with blue sky in the distance.
Another early one for #wildflowerhour as I'm never free in real time. Beautiful yellow flowers like snapdragons, just one patch as far as I could see, on the edge of a meadow. #IDHelp please! South Downs at Cissbury today.
Tall plant with purple bell-shaped flowers.
Early for #wildflowerhour, being thrown around in the blustery conditions, this was all alone on the edge of a wood at Cissbury Ring on the South Downs in West Sussex today. #IDHelp please!
A large tan moth with leaf shaped wings. Had darker brown patterns in the wings and a brown stripe down the back with a dark brown path towards the head. Thick white and brown antennae.
Does anyone know what kind of moth this is? Taken in Woodbine, Maryland today at approximately 9:30 am. Poor fellow looks like he may have tussled with a bird.

Is this a native sedge? It's been popping up in the cracks and along the edge of our sidewalk. It's rather tall and is triangular like a sedge but I have no knowledge of how to id beyond that. Google says maybe nut sedge? #nativeplant #idhelp

Wer macht denn sowas? Da ist im Wald eine Maus an den Dornen aufgehängt. Der Neuntöter macht das mit Insekten, aber ne ganze Maus?

A photo of garden flowers of unknown species. A yellow button in the middle and about fifteen multicoloured petals in pink, dark orange and light orange. Some of the flowers are also purple. Looking for ID help.
Help with ID please! What is this multicoloured beauty called? I had them last year and is on the lookout for more

An orange butterfly sitting on purple oregano flowers. Its wings seem jagged and messed up and I was amazed it could fly at all. Searching for a natural explanation as to why it looks like this.
ID help please! 🦋Also, can anyone explain why its wings look so jagged? Is it dying? A predator? It’s feeding on Oregano nectar, picture from last July.
