What I think might be a Comma Butterfly, sunning itself on some old, dried agapanthus leaves. A medium sized rusty orange/brown butterfly. With black and faint white marking on the wings. It's wings have a scalloped edge. Which appears a pale beige.
I think this might be a Comma Butterfly. I'm happy to be corrected as I usually struggle to identify them.
That said, with a lively collie crashing around. I'm lucky any wildlife stays still long enough for me to take a picture.
