Here's some progress on my C and #raylib pixel platformer. I've got a moving character with a smooth pixel-perfect camera on #LDtk levels. Even managed to add to squeezing and squashing to my character.
Alright... Took me a while to get here but I can convert an #LDtk map to a .c file and use it to draw multiple layers. Now to learn how to pixel-perfect scroll with #raylib. I love that I can implement some of the #LDtk features like random tile offset and redraw tiles in front of others.
Following @hiulit.bsky.social example, I'm trying out #raylib in C. This is not easy but I wrote a little python script to make #aseprite animations into C code and read and play them on a pixel perfect windowed canvas. Its a slow start... But its a start. Next is #LDtk
One of the most useful tools I've come across since starting my indie journey has to be LDtk.
Just painting my level chunks, so satisfying.
