Least bittern in quickly fading light required high ISO and low shutter speed and I still had to fix it in editing to make it ok.
Least bittern in the golden hour with moderate shutter speed and low ISO required almost no editing. I got a bunch of snaps and almost all of them turned out really good with the only issue being finding angles with the least obstructions.
Went back for another bite at the apple to see if I could get some shots of a least bittern in better lighting. On the left is my best attempt from yesterday. On the right was just now in the golden hour.
