WIP - I've been really enjoying dabbling in stylized shading and linework in Blender. This is my first mockup of a somewhat Arcane-style look combining a ramp shader with a soft edge mixed subtly with a more typical pbr shader, as well as some subtle lines for support. #3Dart #LookDevelopment

Although there is an automatic #UV tool in #Maya, it is not recommended to completely do automatic, creating UVs for #ghostbustertrap, a very hectic but necessary job.

From the Pinocchio exhibit, a very neat example of how the art department leverages look development to visualize the film. Similar approaches in games too.

The materials don’t change in the still life, lighting alone sets the mood. Painting with lights 🫶🏽
