After nearly 2 years as Associate Director of Learning at BAYCAT (Bayview Hunters Point Center for Arts & Technology) I was let go after disclosing a medical condition and 4 days after vacation and the middle of a PIP I was blindsided by that directors told me was not an attempt to fire me but support me as in the new restructure of the organization.
I’m looking for my next opportunity. Open to art education and museum programming positions at a manager level.
I’ve been working in art education for over 14 years in various roles in nonprofits such as education and program management, virtual teaching in museums and curriculum development for PK-12 public schools and after school programs in DC and Charlotte.
I’m open to remote roles and hybrid, willing to relocate for the right opportunity if they are willing to work with me! Currently in Oakland and looking for a base salary of at least $110k in order to survive in the Bay. But open to less for other areas.
Thanks!
I’m looking for my next opportunity in the arts education, programming, and museum fields if you know anyone hiring in the Bay Area or remotely!
