Starting from the bottom we have the earth with it's green and shadow as sunset nears. Moving up we have the beam of light in white, gold and oranges that is the sun about to set. Then towards the top we have the sky and clouds with the night sky appearing. Abstracted to highlight the energy and effect, without the usual visual clues of photographic accuracy. 24x48 canvas mixed media

This has minimal explanation of what we're looking at. It might be said it's minimalist art in nature. At the bottom is a land mass adjacent to the ocean. Move up a bit and you see the ocean with it's haze obscuring somewhat the boundary with the sky. It's a clear air sunny day so from there on up it sky and more sky. I think such a view is rather horizontal for bsky art show. Oh yes, I almost forgot the orange thing on the right is the artist. Upper left is another work. Main canvas is black metal framed standing on easel.

I reposted with new tags so if you've seen it already, sorry about doubling up. This is looking through trees with an open field behind. The sun is setting making the trees glow with the sunset colors. Color that are usually not associated with sunsets but none the less are there just less noticed. Some trees are in shadow completely.
