We have been gifted with snow, pumping up light into our lives. The trees on the croft are full of buds and I am very hopeful we will have a fantastic growth, definitely establishing our #microforest

The first catkins of our croft. It is the first time a tree from our #microforest starts its breeding cycle. It is just 1 endemic willow but it gives hope our microenvironment is improving. We can wait to make things happen everywhere or we can do something in our reach for biodiversity.

That's it I have finally finished planting #trees for the season (until I buy more).
C. 260 new bareroot trees have joined our #croft mostly berries and thorns for #hedging. Since we started our #microforest, the number of bird species has increased considerably.
