The Art of Forgiveness: Revised Edition Choosing not to forgive is an irresponsible choice that creates havoc within ourselves, and those around us. When we allow the hurt or pain we feel after someone mistreats us to smolder, it’s as if we’re uncertain, unreliable, and erratic—about ourselves.
