My observation of the peak of the #Orionids meteor shower on 21-22 October 2025. Several other showers were also active. Over 3.5 hours of observing I counted:
Orionids: 15
Northern Taurids: 1
Southern Taurids: 4
Epsilon Geminids: 2
Leonis Minorids: 3
Sporadics: 18

I've spent 8+ hours over three separate nights (including the supposed peak) and not managed to see a single meteor 🤷♂️ (Devon, UK) Still, I did get to see a Tawny Owl perched on a neighbour's roof which makes up for it. I'll keep looking! #Orionids
