Underground scene in a subway station on a platform facing an oncoming subway train with its headlights shining and its yellow, circular marker lamp indicating that this is the "Q" train line; this is a vintage Pullman R46 train, which celebrates its 50th anniversary today!; the beams of the headlights illuminate the tunnels tracks and metal ceiling beams: red and blue signal lamps on either side of the tracks keep the trains running safely, while the yellow rubber mat at the platform's edge usually keeps subway patrons from falling onto the tracks; the station is clean and well-lit, although it is a bit hot on this muggy summer day.
