Nice start to the day today, we had a red kite sitting in the branches of a tree at the end of our garden.
These are truly impressive birds and was really nice to spend some time taking some photos of it

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗻𝗴): A red kite perches on a bare pine branch. We see it from behind, but it turns its head; moreover, all its feathers are ruffled, although we don't know why (perhaps it's drying them after a downpour). The background is dark, unattractive, and out of focus, but enough for us to glimpse a tangle of branches from other pine trees behind it. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 (𝗘𝘀𝗽): Milano Real posado en la rama desnuda de un pino. Está de espaldas, pero vuelve la cabeza, ademas, tiene todas las plumas erizadas, aunque no sabemos por qué (tal vez está secándolas después de un aguacero. El fondo es oscuro, poco atractivo, desenfocado, pero suficiente para que podamos atisbar una maraña de ramas de otros pinos que hay detrás.
