A grimy, industrial looking metal corridoor with a ventilation duct casting dramatic shafts of light from the left side of the picture In the bottom of the shot, below the lit up duct grate, are some steps - the top of which is marked with caution tape. The right side wall is illuminated with amber light, with criss cross/grid shaped shadows cast upon it from the mesh in front of the orange lights.
A relatively bare room, with a hexagon tile patterned floor. The upper segment part of the left hand wall is cut at a 45 degree angle, with two long rectangular lights built into it - with two dramatic, white volumetric light shafts being cast down into the room. There is a pair of crates stacked on top of each other in the back of the shot, casting a soft shadow on to the floor and right side wall.
Mastodon folks will already know this, but: I've been getting into baked lightmaps recently. It seems to be a fantastic way to get moody shadows and ambient/bounced light with really very little runtime cost!
