Biggs's win is notable for two reasons:
1. Republicans will add a woman to their male-heavy caucus.
2. It's only the 2nd time a Trump-endorsed congressional candidate has lost this cycle. #SC03
Just got the last big batch of votes in #SC03 (from Anderson County), and Biggs retains a 51–49% lead over Burns. The AP has now called the race for her and she will almost certainly be elected to Congress this fall.
With 82% reporting in #SC03, Biggs still leads Burns 52–48%. And, as @geoffreyvs reports on our live blog, Biggs is actually winning the election day vote by MORE than she's winning the early vote. abcnews.go.com/538/live-upd...
With 66% reporting in the #SC03 GOP runoff, Biggs is holding onto her 53–47%. Even better for her, she leads in two counties that Burns won on June 11 that the AP estimates are fully reporting.
This could be a bad night for Trump endorsees. One (Trent Staggs in #UTsen) was already likely to lose. Now Mark Burns is trailing in #SC03 as well.

The AP is projecting a June 25 runoff between Mark Burns and Sheri Biggs for the Republican nomination in the open, safely red #SC03. Biggs represents a chance for Republicans to add a woman to their caucus, but Trump has endorsed Burns.
In #SC03, Burns has taken the lead over Biggs 31–30%. Of course, it doesn't really matter since they're both probably going to a runoff anyway. Jones is way behind now with 19%.
Up to 24% reporting now in #SC03, and Burns has pulled ahead of Jones for 2nd place, 28–22%. Biggs remains in 1st with 29%. This is very likely to go a runoff so 2nd place is important.
With 11% of the vote counted in the #SC03 GOP primary (a safely red open seat), Sheri Biggs leads Stewart Jones 32–26%. Trump-endorsed Mark Burns is in 3rd with 24%.
