Anyone else obsessed with knitting doll clothes? This pattern is one of my favorites: Gwen by Steph Wiley. It's a great project to use up leftover sock yarn and knits up quick. 🧶

The brioche stitches form a complex wave pattern that is visible on both sides of the fabric.

Better late than never. Here is my finished "Cuairteagan", a super long syncopated brioche cowl from designer @lizcorkeknits.bsky.social . I cast this on in February for the blue themed #SkyKAL , but I missed the deadline. Yarn is Blu Fiber Company - Sock in "Peregrine" and "Echo 21". #Knitting 🧶 💙

A cowl is looped over a deck post. It's textured in almost a grid, with alternating textures. One "square" is alternating horizontal rows of stockinette and garter ridges, and the other has vertical lines of slipped stitches. Colors are teal and contrasting yarn is dark blue and green handspun.

The same cowl as prior picture, this time on a person. She is a white-ish woman with dark curly hair, wairing the cowl over a t-shirt and hoodie, holding the camera out for a selfie, elder millennial style.

I finished my Grid Gambit cowl, which was in part an entry for the #SkyKAL. Loved knitting this, loved knitting with my own handspun, love the finished project. Might knit another sometime!
