A small wooden box on a wooden post along a sidewalk. This is a little free library, with books available on the other side. This photo shows two of the sides with paintings of animals. One is a beautiful black dog and the other is a bird with blue wings and an orange breast. There are also paintings of orchids and rainbow colors along the top. Before the artist painted these animals, they put up sheets of white paper with gold embossed art on them. This creates a nice background, but each sheet of paper is about the same size as a wrapper on Dandelion Chocolate bars.
The front of this little free library. It has a glass door and a painting of a bat flying over an animals skull can be seen on the other side of the library. In the background, you can see a family riding bikes on Sanchez St.
A painting of a bird on the side of the little free library. This bird has blue wings and a red breast, like a common kingfisher. It is on a branch with two orchids beneath it. The background of the painting is sheets of paper with little crest patterns in a gold foil.
I love the art on this little free library on #SlowSanchez street. I'm not sure who the artist is, but I love it. The gold-foil paper in the background looks familiar too, I think it might be discarded wrapper from #DandelionChocolate bars. #SanFrancisco #LittleFreeLibrary
