New frustration: I'm deduplicating the combined results of the original search & redo (new results) & finding more duplicates than I'd expect. Realising this is probably because I'm now deduplicating on similar records rather than exactly the same. Always more decisions to make in #SystematicReview
Value of a research log. When looking in RefWorks to check the number of #SystematicReview records post-deduplication (deduplicating again after rerunning the searches post-screening) I found 2 folders with slightly different numbers.
I searched for the 2 numbers in my log & found an explanation!

Since I used #OpenAlex to design and export a #systematicreview search last night, I had to double check just now that my search string still gives the same number of results (it should!).... and it does 🎉.
This is exactly what I would expect from a stable system (which OpenAlex is).
I've used #OpenAlex (web) a lot this week, for exploratory searching & scoping, to show a colleague how it works, & even creating & exporting a search for a #SystematicReview.
Interestingly, I was on it yesterday and was surprised to see the interface had changed from what I had used the day before
So excited to build a #SystematicReview search in #OpenAlex (Web app) today. Designed the search strategy & tested it (with seed studies). Export failed on Firefox, but worked on Edge 😌
