A vertical black and white, slightly high-contrast close-up of a decaying wooden window frame and a portion of the wall next to it. The image is cropped to focus on the textures of age and neglect. The multi-pane window frame is made of wood, and its paint is severely cracked and peeling, creating a web of fine lines across the surface. Many of the individual glass panes are dirty and streaked, obscuring the view inside, though a faint, crumpled curtain or sheet is visible behind the glass in some of the panes. Bits of what look like spiderwebs are scattered in the corners of several of the panes. A few of the panes show signs of damage, with what may be chips or cracks in the glass. To the right of the window frame, the wooden siding of the building is also visible. Its surface is even more dilapidated than the window frame, with large flakes of paint curling away from the wood. This section of the wall appears to be a light color, and the deep, dark cracks where the paint has fallen away reveal the underlying texture of the weathered wood.
