A sunny yellow window where my cats love to sleep, on a window seat and a beige chaise right up next to it. Sheer patterned gold swirl curtains are tucked between, creating sort of a tent over the window seat, where my cat Jane The Magnificent is laying down, casting a shadow. My other cat, her bonded loyal subject, Tarzan the Maine Coon, is sitting up on the chaise. Both cats are looking to camera. Jane is a silver grey tortoiseshell tabby and Tarzan is a very large grey & white tuxedo extra superfloof cat. A disco ball in the sash reflects little tiny dots of reflected golden sunlight from floor to ceiling in a circular pattern. The room is painted orange and the window has red curtains open to the sides.
The same scene in the window boudoir with my cats Jane and Tarzan, but zoomed in to them only. Tarzan is also now laying down. When they were younger the cats loved to chase the dots. Both are senior kitties now. Tarzan has been facing some health issues and has lost a lot of weight. He’s responding best he can to treatment but any cat over 16 is in decline. Every day with them is such a gift. Jane is 17 but she’s going as strong as she can too.
Zoomed in even further tl just my cat Tarzan the Maine Coon. He’s looking skinny still but he has gained some weight back and he’s acting like he’s feeling a little better. I hope his recovery continues. He’s a champ, and very handsome. The light and shadows play across his coat and the golden light matched his golden eyes.
The magic hour at the window boudoir with Jane and Tarzan.
