TPL Wychwood! This community staple has certainly evolved over the last century, but maintains its iconic brick foundations from 1915, as seen today!

As a non-sports watcher, honestly, my favorite thing about the #WorldSeries is watching the #LAPublicLibrary and the #TorontoPublicLibrary troll each other on Facebook/Insta.

There is some *serious* searching of the stacks going on.

You, too, can get a free, limited-edition #WorldSeries TPL button at select branches, until they’re gone. Check their socials for more info.

Let’s go, #BlueJays! And people, #read #books, for the love of God.

A photo of a boarded-up window at the Toronto Public Library Lillian Smith Branch. The window has caution tape and a sign that says "Find books on HOME REPAIR in Non-Fiction section 643."

Interesting display outside the Lillian Smith library today. Got to assume this was a clever idea borne of actual window damage?

Achievement unlocked in my #100Branches project! I worked on my MG novel in the TPL's Guildwood branch, Scarborough. Well-lit, clean, air-conditioned, table space, cubicle power outlets, part of outdoor shopping ctr.

My goal: to visit all 100 branches of #TorontoPublicLibrary.

Or if you prefer there’s a #TorontoPublicLibrary if you head west instead. It’s a little incognito, blending in with the other storefronts, but its a nice (big) little library.

I didn’t have time, but if I had wanted to read my book: the mall itself is pretty small. There’s a courtyard with no benches and a pretty nice food court. But just north on Orchard View Blvd there’s a library one can curl up on some nice couches.
