The Unsolved Murder of Rene Armando Di Stefano On August 8, 2015 in the early morning, police and fire fighters responded to a report of a fire at the Starlite Trailer Court in Swan River, Manitoba. After putting the fire out, the body of Rene “The Rambler” Armando Di Stefano was found inside. The fire was ruled as suspicious and Rene's death was ruled as a homicide. Rene's daughters believe that whoever killed their father was after his Fentanyl, a drug more potent than heroin which is abused by recreational users. Rene had a prescription for the drug to ease the pain caused by cancer.

The Unsolved Murder of Patricia ‘Trisha’ Lynn Paraszczuk Location: Hamilton, ONDate of birth: June 11, 1955Patricia's Date of death: March 3, 1982Hamilton Police Service File #: 82009630 On the evening of March 3, 1982, neighbors noticed flames coming from the home of Patricia Paraszczuk. They broke down the doors in an attempt to rescue Trisha but were overcome by the flames. Hamilton Fire Department extinguished the fire and eventually found Patricia’s body. While the house was set on fire, investigators determined that she did not die from the blaze. She had been strangled beforehand in what police believe was an attempt to stage her death as a suicide.
