I failed out of #UT (was there same semester as #KevinDurant, & went to approx same number of classes) before graduating from #UofH (Eat 'em up, Coogs!), & 1 of the classes I didn't go to at UT was an 8am 4x/week *ancient* #Greek language course 2 MILES from where I lived, #lol

![Grinding for that Curator Archivist badge 😤
This is, like, the 20th or 22nd film I've uploaded into the ReelRank archives, and I think we should all celebrate that (by marking this Fair or Like or whatever we do here).
I wrote about Wreck-It Ralph when it came out. What y'all should know is that being a student film-critic was SO COOL, because I was going to the same press screenings the 'real,' adult film critics (I was, like, nearly 26 when I graduated, so I didn't even stand out as being young by the end) and my stories ran both in print and digitally the day-of-release (or whenever the embargo was lifted), and Cougars at UofH did respond to them, especially when I savaged stuff, and I leaned WAY into that. I LOVED the attention I got from being negative. Let's look here:

"The film did have its moments — it would be difficult not to be amusing or clever even once in 108 minutes. But the world Walt Disney Animation Studios strives to create is filled with enough flashing three-dimensional effects to induce epileptic fits and is devoid of even an ounce of character or real beauty.
Compare “Wreck-It Ralph’s” arcade to the panoramic and sweeping splendor of Paradise Valley in “Up.” All the glitz and gloss only serve to underscore the extreme dearth of soul or substance in the arcade."
And then I get, like, SUPER philosophical about child-rearing and what it should mean to attempt to appeal to children. It's kind of wild they published this or let me get away with it. I've never ever had a kid or even come that close to it, to be honest. But at, like, 24 or 25, I could NOT have known less from parenting. Bold, lol. It's worth a read. This movie?
