Manifest darkness

Hi Womble. I'm reading Pseudotooth by Verity Holloway. Very appropriate for #wihm.
A beguiling double narrative - of a teenager confined to a relative's house after experiencing seizures and an East Ender with pyromania and an alcoholic father. Also a lot of William Blake. Very immersive.

Three book covers at the bottom of the page: Ink Vine and Other Swamp Stories, Ninety-Eight Sabers, and Ink Vine.
Found poem above reads:

Commandment

Swamp mansions tattooed
with the kiss of lunacy,
offer dares to reality,
cut history with
a brutal poison.
A legacy of strangeness
sneaks into the land,
its commandment:
a funeral for all.
