Coastal region with high mountains and hilly river valleys, deciduous hardwoods dot the eastern reaches of the norther area where hard coniferous softwoods dominate the northwest. A large range of mountains splits the lush northern and barren arid southern area. - unfinished due to time constraints.
Failed this 15 minute map challenge, I got too hung up on rivers to get the rest of the detail I wanted.

One of the more annoying shortsighted decisions I've found with #Wonderdraft is the inability to rotate trees and mountains while placing them. You can select them individually afterward and rotate them separately, but it definitely feels like the programmers missed a step here.
A quick test of my hand-drawn woodland asset creations in #Wonderdraft. I think it looks pretty good. There's currently only 8 symbols, so I've a ways to go for a complete set.

Found something which has a workflow and UI that I can work fairly quickly with and has a good toolset to determine scale.
This one is called #Wonderdraft and it's a one time purchase. You can even import your own assets. Sure, there could be some improvements, but so far the best starting point.
Anyone using #Wonderdraft have a completed city map file they're willing to share? I'd like to see some of the settings and scale used for comparison to my own.

More experimenting with creating #Wonderdraft city-scale assets. This time, it's fountain variations. For the dwarf set, the aesthetic I'm going with is one that avoids curves and soft angles.

My brain is beginning to get cooked on how to assign the tectonics here. I'm still not 100% on coverage so I don't want to edit the underlying terrain yet. But I'm kinda stuck pondering things like whether I split Khairnor between two plates.

Do NOT remove assets from your file directory that are currently in use in an active map because the app will happily zap each and every one from your map, but won't put them back after you fix the directory. 😕

These are the two worlds in my interplanetary war #LANCER campaign I have yet to begin. (One day~) Scifi worldbuilding is so much fun! And I think I really nailed the aesthetic. Done in #Wonderdraft btw.

A world map for Wanderer's Tale The middle section is the Ikune region, consisting of the Ketrikkhaz Archipelago and associated trade routes they have, the Ni'rral Empire that own vast farmlands and forests, in the northern forests of Ikune while the Aurimont Duchies occupy the mountains. Forwiest exist on the Chalren plains to the east, with the Outer Empire Territories existing between them and the Empire. To the south, connected by the Kalamir Link is the theocracy of Drissau. For the southern parts there are the Deep Jungles, a mostly unexplored area that Drissau claim is under their control, though for the most part they only live on the outer parts of it, leaving much of it a mystery. To the south-west we have the Nazeerian Expanse. A vast land that are known for the powerful dragons residing there. Though the contact remains somewhat limited, the region trade with the rest thanks to trade routes charted by the Cannonball Trade Company, who holds a monopoly within Ikune on the knowledge of travelling safely across the sea. To the east there are the shattered isles. The lore remains a bit limited on this region for now, but what is known is that the Kalaniar originated from there before the great storm migration that caused them to set sail. The map was created using Wonderdraft and was created by @phoenixtgw.bsky.social.
