I didn't see the lunar eclipse, but I did get a nice shot of a plane leaving a contrail across the sky from the moon to the big dipper on Monday evening.

Night sky photo of big dipper and many other stars. In the foreground there is a slightly lit set of hedges whose contour follows the angles of the big dipper. There is also a gate/railing and a nice palm tree in the night time light.
AFAIK, these hedges were not trimmed to match the Big Dipper - it just worked out that way!
