Bourne End One-Place Study.
Image: Photo of The Walnut Tree, a public house. The main building is a brick-built, whitewashed two-storey and two-bay house, with a red-tiled roof and flanking brick chimneys. There is a small, single-storey extension (also brick-built and whitewashed, with a red-tiled roof) on the left, and a single-storey wooden building which may be a function room. The tops of trees behind the buildings can be seen, and the sky is blue with white clouds.

What’s in a Photo is the subject of the Bourne End Bucks #OnePlaceStudy Society’s next meeting, on 18 Dec 2025. The group will look at some old pictures of Bourne End and have a collective reminisce session – plus a short quiz, and light refreshments. Members free, non-members £4. #OnePlaceWednesday

Picture of an author's table, covered in a black cloth, and covered in books. The table is in a public library and there's a pop-up banner in the background with 'E. L. Williams' and 'Magical fiction' on it.

My first author event of 2025 and I was beyond excited as my table was IN THE LIBRARY! (traders are usually in the room next door)

I had so many fabulous conversations with visitors & I almost sold out of The Magic Keepers! Thank you #BourneEnd
