Former #GOP presidents, like #Reagan and #BushSr also worked hard to lay the grounds for this. And mainstream #Democrats like #Clinton, #Obama and #Biden never really fought it, believing this to be an electoral risk and trying to appropriate it in a softer form, deeply compromising their standing.
