Apparently, I serve my elderly mother too much food at every meal. Behold "too much." 😒
Note that 2 of the blobs are simply ketchup & ranch sauces for dipping. It's been hard to learn to cook so little without reducing portions any further. And yet my weekly grocery bills are crippling! #Caretaking

My mother's dementia limits her conversation; she doesn't volunteer things or initiate EXCEPT when I get long-stem Ecuadorian #roses from Sam's. A steal at $15 for 18 in all colours. She perks up at every meal, chatting about them. I cut the stems every few days so they last 10-14 days. #Caretaking
