Gently terraced ground is enclosed in a high bright white metal and glass structure. The structure is curved, sloping up to the right. On the left and in the distance, a white walkway with railing skirts the edges of the site. The ground is beige with highlights in a darker red. Within these reddish areas are laid out archeological elements including hearths and replicas of small statues. The original statues are in the museum on site.
A forest of tall pillars holding up an arched ceiling is reflected in shallow water. The pillars have intricately carved capitals. Walkways are visible on the far left and right sides. The whole space is lit with intentionally dramatic lighting, which appears reddish with a long exposure.

Feels like cheating again... #cavernous human-shaped landscapes. Left, the enclosure over the relocated meso- and neolithic site of Lepenski Vir, in Serbia. Right, the 6th century CE Basilica Cistern in - or rather under - Istanbul.
