Our photograph looks straight upward at the sky, filling the entire frame with clouds and deep shades of blue. There is no ground, horizon, or buildings visible only the vast sky above. The sky is a rich, saturated blue that becomes darker toward the top of the image and gradually lightens slightly toward the bottom. Spread across it is a dense pattern of small, puffy clouds. They are arranged in countless rounded clusters, packed closely together like scales on a fish or ripples on water. Each cloud is soft and cotton-like, with bright white tops and gentle bluish shadows underneath. The clouds form rows and waves that seem to flow across the sky. Near the bottom of the picture they appear more tightly packed and slightly brighter, almost like rows of soft foam on a calm sea. As your gaze moves upward, the clouds become more scattered and darker tones of blue dominate, giving the feeling of depth and height. The overall impression is of a textured sky, almost like a quilt of tiny cloud pillows stretching endlessly overhead. It feels expansive and atmospheric, as if you are lying on your back looking up at a dramatic, patterned ceiling made entirely of clouds and light. Finally, our picture is finished with a simple, white border frame.
