Out again early this morning now I'm free 🙄🤣. Stantaway farm otterton and Brandy head. Merlin was first bird seen chasing linnet, 8 cirl bunting,3 fulmar, 2 peregrine,12 common scoters, 3 grt northern diver. Pics of very distant fulmar & scoters also shags looking good now #UKBirding #Devonbirds.

Wow at last after 2 months stuck indoors docs got right meds for me to get out in car & Walk for up to 20 mins ish.Not a lot but can't tell you how fantastic it was 😁😁.Went to mutters moor, stantaway farm, otter NR & exmouth.Saw & heard loads.Few pics of some of the birds. #UKBirding #Devonbirds.

Bull Point calm but heavily overcast & chilly this morning. A few migrants on the move, incl 3 Sand Martin, 4 Skylark, 9 Pied Wagtail, 3 unid’d alba wag, 1 Grey Wag, 46 Meadow Pipit, 23 Linnet & 4 Goldfinch. Noticeable influx of 6+ Chiffchaff. #UKbirding #devonbirds

Found a lovely spot today the bird song was deafening! Mistle and song thrush, nuthatch, goldcrest,grey wagtail, green and gt spotted woodpeckers plus many more. Definitely needs further exploration! #devonbirds @nationaltrust.org.uk @rspb.bsky.social

Can anyone help with ID of this gull at Mansands, Devon this morning. It looked good for #CaspianGull as it flew in- neck shawl and white head + tail/rump but underwing was fairly dark. When landed the mantle/scaps quite dark for Casp and wing coverts unusually patterned? #devonbirds #ukbirding

Some pretty cool late-afternoon gulling on the Axe included a handful of super-dark intermedius LBB Gulls, as well as 2w and 3w Yellow-legged Gulls (2w pictured).

Who knew what flies past our window!! 34 species so far this yr !!. And today was scoping across the valley and picked up first sand martins of yr 4 in a 40 to 60 minute spell. The local jackdaws & magpie's are keeping me amused. #UKBirding #Devonbirds.
