A small doubleweave cotton warp woven in a checkerboard design. Experimenting with sett and some Leno and Brooks bouquet. Part of the warp ends have been cut to reveal the under layer.
I’ll love sampling and messing around with ideas—with no pressure for perfection or a lovely finished item.

I've been absolutely flat out these last few weeks completing a commission: table settings for six places including a placemat, napkin and coaster for each setting, with an additional three coordinating table runners. What a project!

Fulling these blankets was a tough job. Watched Laura Fry’s class on Magic in the Water afterwards and they do both pass the cloth integrity finger poke test. Back to the drawing board for some sampling.
