WWII Germany destroyed a refinery in #Dunkirk; it resumed operations later but closed in 2010.A 5year cleanup of the heavily contaminated soil has now been completed. A battery factory & biofuel plant will occupy the site. A new rail terminal will replace truck transport & reduce emissions.
