Erigeron compositus var. glabratus (cut-leaf daisy, petal-less altitude form). A blurry background and four yellow dots. The central dot is in focus. It is composed of the disk flowers of what is normally a daisy-like flower, but at the altitude we were at, for some reason they do no grow the rays.
Geum macrophyllum, large leafed avens. On a blurry background of leaves, a fresh green sprig. One simple yellow five petalled flower is open and several buds are ready to start.
I think this might be Letharia lupina, but I'm invoking lichensubscribe to see if that's right. On a background of charred-black bark, a more or less globular pouf of lichen threads, acid yellow-green.

I'd be willing to bet that the little daisy is Erigeron filifolius (Peck's thread-leaf fleabane). I was able to collect a bit of seed over in southern Kittitas County this past year, so hopefully I'll have at least some to sell this coming year.
