Workgroup approves single-exit appendix language and adds pointer to fire code The Building Code Council workgroup voted to add the single-exit exception language (item 6) and to include a pointer from the fire code to the IBC appendix that governs single-exit multiplexes; final approval is scheduled after a user-note is finished.

I would like to see this table updated to add a new column listing fire deaths per 100,000 people. This would reveal that #Switzerland allows single-stair high-rise towers and has a fire death rate five times LOWER than the United States.

So pissed I don't get to enjoy any of these phenomenal open window nights because neighbors have giant open fires blowing smoke right into my bedroom. No one pays attention to #FireCode in this city. First the fire is far too close to property, second its too large, & there are wind gusts >10mph
