Alan said my initial #FourOrMore post was a lot more than four so I found a photo with four species of gulls.
Two pictures for today's #BirdOfTheDay : the theme is #FourOrMore. I have a flight of four brent geese (please correct me if that's not the right name) and a nice flock of pigeons in an old French town. They're definitely more than four 😉

Heard the #birdoftheday is #fourormore so here are a few more than four Snow Geese
Three white pelicans in the foreground. Over a dozen double crested cormorants in the background. Two of the pelicans are asleep, heads tucked under wings. One pelican is awake and standing up, facing right. The cormorants in the back are either standing with their wings folded or standing with their wings spread out to dry (they are not waterproof like ducks)
Eek, almost forgot to post #BirdOfTheDay! Today’s prompt is #FourOrMore, which with the cormorants, easily makes the count. Pelicans are really huge birds.
I’ve got #fourormore double-breasted cormorants! 🪶

Photo of 12 sandpiper birds scrambling on the beach, with an ocean wave coming in from the left.
Yes, there are #FourOrMore sandpipers -- 12, to be precise --on the beach at Cape May, NJ in Sept. 2025 for today's #BirdOfTheDay.

Five great egrets—White birds, with long necks and tails and broad wingspans— fly against a grey sky.
Last #BirdOfTheDay of the day for me.
After watching a single great egret fish for an out an hour on a grey day, this happened.
Handheld white on grey in flight with a bridge camera and an inexperienced photographer (me!) does not make for a great photo. But it was a great moment.

The #BirdOfTheDay theme is #FourOrMore You have to look close, but there are 4 Crossbills working away on the pine cones in this ponderosa pine tree. 🪶 #birds
A Canada geese family of 2 parents and multiple goslings grazing beside the Bow River. Behind them is a tree, obviously chewed by a beaver, but now protected with metal caging. May 2024, Calgary, Alberta.
For today's #BirdoftheDay theme #FourorMore, I offer this family of Canada Geese grazing beside the Bow River in 2024
(and in the background, a Balsam Poplar tree caged -probably too late! - against beaver snacking)
A long row of plumed whistling ducks perched on a tree branch over an unseen lagoon
Two pairs of king parrots discussing ownership of a nesting hollow
A bunch of galahs being a bunch of galahs
Re-enactment of some renaissance picture - supplication, arrogance, supercilious self-righteousness, indifference

I've done it! I've got all my ducks in a row!
Also quartets of king parrots, galahs, and cormorants in less linear formations.

7 big swans, four with white adult feathering, three grey juveniles, are sitting on a dark green field with their heads up, all looking away from the camera toward a thin layer of fog that approaches from a nearby leafless forest. Flights of Pelicans for today's #BirdofTheDay theme of #FourOrMore. You can almost always find more than four pelicans at a time.

I saw earlier that the #BirdOfTheDay is #FourOrMore. At first I wasn't planning to participate. But then as I was going through a portable hard drive I came across I found this shot of four Gambrel's Quail.
Seems like I have not choice now.
Today's #BirdOfTheDay is #FourOrMore. From #Zimbabwe, here is a tree full of Hooded Vultures at sunset. We had been searching for an elephant carcass (natural death). These birds were a good indication that we were getting close. Then the smell! Ugh. Nearby were several hyenas. #Africa #photography
