Largely unknown in 🇩🇪, this is a perfect live album from the brilliant band "It Bites": Thankyou And Goodnight.
Unfortunately this was also the last album with the original band lineup.

Just heard #ItBites on Planet Rock with ‘Kiss Like Judas’. First time I’ve heard this on the radio in 37 years of being into them. Sounded ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BRILLIANT.

Another corking single by Cumbrian giants, #ItBites, which, in an alternate 1989, would have spent several weeks inhabiting the UK Top 10. Rinsed this so much! Can’t articulate how much this band mean to me. And I will never forgive the general public for not making them absolutely massive! #IYKYK 🥰

In 1989/90 I recall being really frustrated that the singles from the third #ItBites album didn’t make the UK Top 40. Virgin really tried to be fair, remixing and releasing ‘Underneath Your Pillow’ and ‘STYTR’ twice. The latter, in particular, could’ve been massive. Here’s the other promo.👇🏻 #ProgSky

Even now, nearly 40 years later, I’m still puzzled why they never sustained a high chart profile. Four pretty boys who could play the f%#k out of their instruments, writing great hooky, rocky tunes like this!👇🏻

Liebe #ProgRock-Bubble, wusstet Ihr, dass John Mitchell (#Arena, #Frost, #ItBites, #LonelyRobot usw.) am 23.12. ein Weihnachtskonzert (mit eigenen Stücken, Coversongs, Anekdoten) in #Oberhausen abhält? Ich bisher nicht. Klingt aber sehr spannend, finde ich!
